Cast and Crew
Erika Sasseville
Creator/Improvisor/Single-bisexual-looking-for-love
Erika is a first time producer at the Minnesota Fringe, returning with her own show after performing in "Stages" and "Slendervale" during the 2022 Fringe festival. When not performing improv or searching throughout the land for a romantic partner, Erika can be found directing and producing with Night Fire Theatre. (Stay tuned for “Dracula a feminist revenge fantasy, really” by Kate Hamill this October at the Mounds Theatre in St. Paul!)
Annika Lyn Peterson
Improviser
When she isn’t telling people how to pronounce her name, AHN-ih-kah keeps herself busy making artsy things, staying active outside, and wondering if her cats love her. Annika performs improv throughout the twin cities and enjoys turning life’s quirks into stand-up material.
Kade Steiner
Improviser/Musician
Kade is often found at the piano, staring longingly at blank notation paper and willing the music to write itself. When he's not rhyming himself into an anxiety spiral, he's usually doing improv, playing D&D, or baking.
Lily Smith
Improviser
Lily always thought she was funny but refused to get on stage! Finally at 17 years old, she got up there and has been performing ever since. You can catch Lily at Stevie Ray’s Comedy Cabaret in Chanhassen or attempting to train for the Twin Cities Marathon. Lily’s always wanted to be in movies and recently booked her first supporting role in a film!
Mathew David Suhr
Improviser
Mathew splits his time between raising his daughter, trying to make people laugh and lamenting the loss of his Larry Bird Living Legends basketball card behind the panelling of his childhood bedroom.
Michael Hundevad
Improviser
Michael is an actor, acrobat, clown, dancer, singer, in the twin cities. Stay whimsical!
Sean Jones
Improviser
Sean loves doing Improv and various other theater activities with his friends and family. This will be his first Fringe show, and oh golly gee is he nervous about it!
More Information

Wouldn’t it be great if you could know how a relationship would work out after just the first date? That’s what So You Want to Date a Bisexual? is offering. A chance to get a glimpse into the future of a relationship based solely on the first meeting.

Created by first-time Fringe producer, Erika Sasseville, a team of improvisors - specially trained in the art of manifesting the future, relationship analysis, and the human condition -  will strive to correctly predict the compatibility between Erika and one brave audience member live on stage. At the start of the show, one audience member volunteer will be welcomed to the stage to share a quick 10-15 minute “first date” with Erika. After the date is complete, the volunteer will return to their seat (with thunderous applause, I’m sure) and then the real show begins. The remainder of the show will be a long-form improv montage of what the rest of the relationship would look like.

Do they stick through the first couple of dates? What do their friends think of the couple? Does meeting the parents spell disaster for the two lovebirds? Do they spend the rest of their lives together? Only time, and a pack of rabid improvisors, will tell. Who knows, maybe it’ll work out!
