Cast and Crew
Kelly Shuda
Director/Musician
As a music director for The Second City in Chicago, Kelly Shuda played approx. 400 shows, to over 100,000 audience members, per year. Now relocated to Mpls, Kelly has amassed a vibrant crew of musical improvisors with which to ride spontaneous waves of joy and art. Kelly is a director, actor, composer, producer, sound designer, pianist, guitarist, drummer, and singer. Don't forget to dance and sing in your everyday life. You will die someday. ig: @kelly.shuda
Isabella Dunsieth
Actor/Singer/Improvisor
ISABELLA DUNSIETH is an actor, writer, and improviser in the Twin Cities. Since receiving her BFA at the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Actor Training Program she has made her way into improv and sketch comedy. She is a co-founder and player with the all-Latinx group Latins On ICE. This year she made her debut with Walking Shadow Theater Company as well as The Brave New Workshop. Isabella believes in making theater that delights and unsettles, making you laugh while also making you think.
Ruben Gomez
Actor/Singer/Improvisor
Hailing from the Pacific North West, Ruben is relatively new to the Twin Cities Improv Scene. He’s mainly a musician, but found long form improv in 2014, which has taken him all over the US and Canada (2 provinces and 9 states!). Since moving to Minneapolis in 2020, Ruben has stayed very active, contributing to notable projects such as Latins on Ice, Hot Pot, Liquid Knight, Rule of 3 and The Pacheacos.
Nora Neisen
Actor/Singer/Improvisor
Nora Neisen is a voracious predator of joy on the improv stage. She plays with the intelligence of a dolphin, the confidence of a bouncer, and the silliness of a duck on the way to jazzercise. You can find her improvising across the city at HUGE, Strike, and beyond, including with the incredible @babetrainimprov.
Michael Rogers
Actor/Singer/Improvisor
Michael Rogers is a director, actor, writer, improvisor, and miniature painter. As half of the mpls improv darlings My Town, he produces and directs improv and theater year round. On stage he plays through a smile, and veers into abstraction and the absurd as often as pop culture references and bouts of song. ig: @mr.mikerogers
Julia Weiss
Actor/Singer/Improvisor
Julia Weiss is a white woman with stomach problems and a rescue pit bull. She works in marketing but tells people it’s “advertising.” Please connect with her on LinkedIn if you’re hiring for an interesting role that pays well and has good benefits. https://www.linkedin.com/in/julia-weiss-592925212
Punkie
Mascot
Punkie is a purple wolf made of stress ball material that we won at an arcade. Punkie emobodies the true spirit of OPERA PUNKS.
