Cast and Crew
Carissa Christenson
Merry / WriterCarissa is ecstatic to be back at the Minnesota Fringe Festival for a third time! Living in Mankato, she can always be found in some artistic or theatrical endeavor at home or in the community. If you’re a Fringe Fanatic you may recognize her from the 2019 Fringe hit Chisago: The Musical where she played Velma, or from 2022’s lesser known pirate musical (#thankscovid) Bonny & Read where she played Anne Bonny. Many thanks to the Pippin to my Merry – my writing partner, scene partner, and partner in crime. Cheers to another show in the books! Now sit back, and enjoy this Journey! Grond Bless.
Kendra Braunger
Pippin / Writer"Hello! My name is Kendra, and I am thrilled to be back at the Minnesota Fringe Festival with this fellowship of incredible people!” Her past Fringe quests include 2019’s Chisago: The Musical as Roxie and 2022’s Bonny & Read as Marry Read. When not hanging out with ents or harmonizing with elves, Kendra enjoys second breakfasts, traveling to distant lands, and supporting the arts. She’d like to thank her own fellowship, her family and friends, for helping her through the theatrical Mordor (assisting with props and listening to her talk about the show nonstop for the last month). Special shoutout to the Merry both on stage and in her life – thank you for being you and for working together to make something incredible. Through Grond all things are possible.
Brianna Webber
FrodoAfter questing with Haute Dish for Chisago: The Musical, Brianna returns to Fringe as Frodo in the Book of Mordor! Brianna is a St. Paul-based performer/educator who lives with her partner, their kids, and a council of cats. Eternal thanks to Tolkien, Peter Jackson, Elijah Wood, Carissa and Kendra, this cast, and her fantasy-loving family. Biggest love to Caitlyn, her Sam - Frodo wouldn’t have gotten very far without Sam. To Rob and Rose - you are the light of Eärendil in a dark world. Keep shining!
