Patrick makes storytelling special. You go on a journey with him that you didn’t know you needed. I felt like I gained new perspectives on life, grateful for what I have and know that I’m not alone in the struggles of being a human. You will laugh and you may tear up as Patrick guides you through some of his life stories. The venue did a great job lighting his stories up and he did a wonderful job keeping the audience engaged. My personal favorite was the 12-point-turn:) Would love to see Patrick perform again!!! 10/10 would recommend!!!

“Dropping My Cover Story” allows us to laugh with Patrick at his fears and anxieties while moving from perceived failures to cheering success, one “well-planned” (tongue in cheek) step at a time. Laughter, tears, giggles, thought- provoking: story telling at its best. Highly recommend.

The fifty minutes flew by. When Patrick finished I could have listened to him for another set. Very funny.

Talented Storyteller

Warm and funny story told by a truly talented public speaker. This story hits right in the chest because it bypasses the usual sentimental cliches about grief and gets straight to how weird and physical healing actually is. After losing his partner, he is just going through the motions, feeling like the fun, light part of his life died too, when the shift happens in the most unglamourous place possible. It’s an honest, grounded reminder that moving on doesn't mean forgetting your grief, sometimes it just means being brave enough to look ridiculous and feel weightless for three seconds.

Captivating Performance

Dropping My Cover Stories is a beautiful mix of exposing Patrick's own vulnerabilities, his goals and his ability to make people laugh with him, not at him. He is a wonderful storyteller who kept the audience engaged throughout the entire performance. Bravo!

I have seen Patrick perform at the Moth and always loved his performances . This was another great show of living through his life experiences and laughing, relating, tearing up a little , and walking away with inspiration. LOVE d it!
