Praise for past Fringe shows...

2023 - Wells Is Third On The Waitlist

Comedian Wells Farnham, who for years has been waitlisted, finally won the Fringe lottery and got his own show.  He never thought this day would come - which now is the problem.  During this clever and self-referential comedy, a world-weary and delightfully public-policy-obsessed Farnham becomes increasingly unhinged as he tries to figure out what his Fringe show should be about.  "Wells Is Third On The Waitlist" truly did come together somewhat last-minute, and that's apparent.  But Farnham's jokes are smart, his writing is mostly tight and sharp, and his outraged delivery is just fun to watch.  The show is a sleeper hit.  - Pioneer Press

2025 - I Have Griefances

In his enthusiastic and endearing performance, Wells Farnham's monologue "I Have Griefances" toes the line between hilarious and devastating.  Moving abruptly between stories of his childhood as a begrudged little brother and his adult life processing grief, he has created a suspenseful, funny and bittersweet show.  What Farnham lacks in natural stage presence, he makes up for in sheer enthusiastic force of will, making his solo monologue deeply entertaining.  The whiplash between goofy stories and the crescendoing grief ultimately delivers a lasting message: that comedy, humor and joy are necessary parts of experiencing loss. - Pioneer Press

I Have Griefances - solid recommendation from friends on this one; Wells Farnham delivers a very funny solo show that is oddly sweet despite all the profanity, in tribute to the multiple members of his family that keep coming down with various strains of cancer ... By the time you read this, it might be too late to catch Wells Farnham’s final performance of "I Have Griefances"... but make a note in your Fringe journal for later.  Because Wells Farnham is a determined artist, who will keep coming back to the Fringe (wait list or no), as long as he has stories to tell.  And I’m sure he’s just getting started.  So if you don’t manage to catch him this time, keep an eye out for him next time around, and make him part of your Fringe scheduling plans.  5 stars - Very Highly Recommended - Single White Fringe Geek
