Great background on a famous poem
While most people have heard of "The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam" I doubt that many know much about its history and cultural influence. This show is entertaining and educational. You can tell the passion that went into writing it. I came away knowing a great deal more. It is well presented by very talented performers. It is well-worth seeing.

Dinosaurs are fun
A simple set (just a chair) with great PowerPoint slides. We saw his show about dinosaurs. Matt kept the audience riveted and entertained with his humor and presentation.

Show: John Wick by Tim Wick (no relation)

No dogs harmed
Well-written and brilliantly performed. While it helps to have seen the films, it isn't required. The show is very entertaining.

Show: Against the Odds: Rachel Carson and the Writing of Silent Spring
Venue: Augsburg Studio
Entertaining and educational
Rachel Carson and "Silent Spring" are significant elements of what is America. Despite having read the book many years ago I did not know anything about the author. This show is well-written, entertaining and educational. We enjoyed it very much. I would have liked to have heard more about push-back she received from the chemical industry and government, but the show was good nonetheless.
