It was fine. Tech got in the way
The premise for this show was terrific and a lot of the actors were quite good and delivered the characters they were portraying. Jules Vern, Poe, Dickens, etc. I didn’t realize it was an improv show until afterwards, which added to how impressed i was that it felt like a scripted show!. For me, what took away from the show was the tech the music at the top of the show was too loud and you couldn’t really hear, which improved without the music, but Arena is a challenging space. The live sound effects added to the show, but again made it hard to understand the actors

Fun concept with some funny moments
The show has a fun sketch comedy format and i was laughing out loud during the explanation of what sketch comedy is. A promising start, however the following scenes were inconsistently funny.

Show: Let Me Say This About That
Venue: Rarig Center Xperimental
Absolutely hilarious!
Incredible show! These three are absolutely hysterical. Audience Participation of the best kind. They take you through three podcasts that are different every show! Excellent long form improv! Don’t miss this show!

A beautiful story
Wow, i miss my grandmas! A really lovely story between a grandma and her grandson as he graduates and prepares to go to college. Through a series of letters a true love and friendship emerge. Both actors carried this show beautifully through their acting choices and through the well sung songs! Definitely worth a Fringe slot! I would consider this a can’t miss!
