Eek! A spooky...friendship?!?
Buckle the f*ck up jagoffs, because Spooky Season came early this year! These two fully-grown adult ladies fooled me (and the audience) into thinking they were tweens. Once I got past the fury of being made a fool, I settled into utter captivation. Also, no one told me that f*cking RADIOHEAD was doing the live music for this show; that was quite the pleasant surprise. Thanks to this show, I am now utterly terrified to become a parent, but I will tell you what's apparent: this show is great!

Water Buffaloes are not cool
I like good plays that screw with narrative structure and this was one of them. I liked the movement work. Shad Cooper's impish grin rendered me gleeful. I like that there was football in the show, and a swimming pool, and a de facto rib-eating contest.

John Heimbuch looked right at me
John Heimbuch looked right at me a couple of times, which made me feel validated. I know him as a director, but now I know him as an actor. He is very good at both things. He drank some beer on stage, which was pretty cool.

I enjoy a good play
Good plays are good to watch; this was one of 'em. It brought much glee and merriment to me, and indeed, the audience.
