Tara Lucchino
A theatre artist, vocalist and musician from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Tara graduated from Penn State University with a theatre degree and after various gigs found her way to the Twin Cities in 2009. Since then, she has been performing with companies across the cities such as Sheep Theater, nimbus Theatre, Special When Lit, Freshwater Theatre, Mermaid Productions and Theatre in the Round to name a few. As a company member of Sheep Theater, Tara was a recipient of City Pages’ 2018 “Best Theater Troupe,” and has participated in many Fringe Festival productions including Sheep Theater’s Kaboom! (2018) and Michael Rogers’ Chorus (2019) & Developers (2022). Tara most recently performed in nimbus Presents: A Count up to Christmas (December 2022) and was very honored to appear in the nimbus/Doc Woods collaboration with playwright Atlese Robinson for The Burning of Greenwood (June 2023). Tara is thrilled to be working back at Fringe, surrounded by so many talented artists and friends, to be working with Hey Rube! again (she previously performed in their 2017 Fringe production of So Bright the Night) and to be joining this fine cast of Behemoth for the 2023 Fringe Festival. You can catch her next in Kin with Special When Lit at the 2023 Twin Cities Horror Festival.
Kaitlyn Stewart
This is Kaitlyn’s first ever fringe show and she is very happy to be a part of it! She studied theatre at Point Park University and hopes to continue her craft locally here in Minneapolis. She would like to shoutout her pet bunny, Thumper, who brings the most joy to her life.
Kyra Scanlan
Kyra Scanlan Duzynski is a lifelong dancer and musician. She fell in love with modern and contemporary dance while studying at UW-River Falls. Kyra performed as a company member of The Phipps Dance Theater for nine seasons. She has also choreographed contemporary dance pieces for local youth ensembles. Kyra’s first performance at the Minnesota Fringe Festival was last year in Orzel Rising. Apart from performing, “Ms. Scanlan” lives out her other passion as a 5th grade teacher.

Shad Cooper first got the acting bug running around and playing make-believe in the fields and forests of central Wisconsin. He has performed in over 70 stage and film productions over the past 30 years. He lives in Minneapolis with his lovely wife, two cute kids and four cats.

He has also performed with Sheep Theater, Pangea World Theater, Exposed Brick Theater, Waterfront Productions and several other production houses in the Twin Cities. He is the founding member of DesiProv – An all South Asian improv comedy group and performs improv with several other groups at HUGE Improv Theater. He is thrilled to be working with Hey Rube! for the first time!
Mahmoud Hakima
Mahmoud is thrilled to be back for his 15th (16th?) year of Fringe! Since arriving in the Twin Cities, he has acted, written, directed, puppeteered and composed for the stage. An active member of the Twin Cities improv community, he performed in last year's Fringe with Slender Vale and Legends Improv Theater. And depending on whether you liked the show or not, he may or may not have directed Happy Endings Church! Mahmoud can also be seen in Works in Progress, also being performed at Theater in the Round! Mahmoud would like to thank Marcus, Kirstin, Delvina, the cast, and all the wonderful Fringe volunteers!
