John Heimbuch
Performer
John Heimbuch has been performing Charlie Bethel's Beowulf and Gilgamesh since 2019. He is a writer, director, performer, and the Artistic Director of Walking Shadow Theatre Company in Minneapolis. His original plays include William Shakespeare's Land of the Dead, A Midwinter Night’s Revel, The Transdimensional Couriers Union, S. Gunter Klaus and the Story Before, Squawk, 10-Speed Revolution and The Lives of the Most Notorious Highwaymen. He is also an independent filmmaker, and part of the Neo-Victorian rock band Bad September. He is honored to be able to continue the legacy of Charlie Bethel's work.

Charlie Bethel was the creator of numerous critically acclaimed solo shows, including Beowulf, Gilgamesh, The Odyssey, Call of the Wild, Seven Poor Travellers and others, many of which premiered at the Minnesota Fringe Festival and were subsequently performed around the country, including Joseph Campbell's Centenary Celebration, and the Mythic Journeys Conference in Atlanta. Charlie passed away in 2017 and is deeply missed by his many friends and family.
Amy Rummenie
Director
Amy Rummenie is a founding member of Walking Shadow Theatre Company where she has directed over 30 productions, including Beowulf, Gabriel, The Three Musketeers, William Shakespeare’s Land of the Dead, 21 Extremely Bad Breakups, and many many others. She also makes elaborate geometric quilts and a wide variety of homemade preserves.
Erik Evensen
Graphic Artist
Erik A. Evensen is a visual communication designer with expertise in graphic design, illustration, and concept visualization. He is an associate professor of design at the University of Wisconsin–Stout, where he teaches introductory, advanced, and graduate-level courses in design drawing & visualization. His comics work includes the graphic novels "The Beast of Wolfe’s Bay" and the Xeric-winning "Gods of Asgard," and anthology stories in the "Ghostbusters" and "Back to the Future" comic series from IDW Publishing.
Sarah Heller
Production Support
Sarah Heller studied English literature and philosophy at the University of Wisconsin, and specialized in the mythology of Britain and Northern Europe at the Mythgard Institute. She is an initiate member of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids.
Anna Feder
Production Support
Anna Feder has been working in cinema exhibition for over two decades. She served as a programmer at Wicked Queer: the Boston LGBT Film Festival for four years, and was the director of the Boston Underground Film Festival for seven years. She currently serves as the Director of Programming in the Visual Media Arts department at Emerson College and curates the Bright Lights film series. She also makes movies.

John Heimbuch has been performing Charlie Bethel's work since 2019. He has performed at venues all over the country, including: Minnesota Fringe, Hollywood Fringe, Providence Fringe, University of Minnesota, University of Texas Austin, The Rosette Theatre in Austin, Chenango River Theatre in New York, Walking Shadow Theater Company, Nonic Brewery in Wisconsin, The Black Forest Inn, and innumerable bars, restaurants, parks, backyards, and living rooms.
