Fantastic LOR Parody!
I have seen both Book of Mormon and all the LOTR movies. I loved the amazing songs that worked well, which was pretty much anytime Samwise and Frodo sang. Not every song in Book of Mormon needed a parody. The ensemble as a whole was not tight enough musically, hence the 4 kittens. That said, the show was a hoot and I enjoyed it immensely!

Hilarious!
I absolutely loved this show as it is an example of how seasoned performers can just crank out of the quality and nail a show! The Sea Shanty singing with tight harmonies was just perfect. Acting superb! Go see this!!

Classic Winding Sheet!
This is a beautiful, thoughtful insight into the life of Hilda af Klint. This is the second time I saw this show. It has so many layers and I experienced so much more after seeing it twice. Winding Sheet tends to focus on historical stories of people who have been misunderstood or pushed to the side and this one delivers. The original music by Derek Lee Miller is absolutely gorgeous and enhances the play beautifully. All the actors were super strong and the characters of each of "The Five" showed each of their different personalities. The fantastical "Spirit" was stunning. Of course the fourth wall was broken (as it usually is), but this time smashed as Amber Bjork directed the ensemble throughout. I loved the ideas that this group put forth of uniting the spiritual with the natural with the scientific. I loved the thoughts and ideas put forth and that in the end, the vision that was given to Hilda af Klint of a temple of with her art displayed within eventually came true. if you would like to see a thoughtful, quiet, beautiful show unlike any others at Fringe, go see this one!
