I Love Queer Art
This show was absolutely brilliant and I found myself engaged throughout the whole show. There was definitely moments where I was confused because of not being able to fully see the actor because they were faced the other way but I was able to quickly figure out what was happening. In dark times it is very important to have something like this short play to bring awareness to the dangers that LGBTQ+ individuals face each and every day. There were moments where I felt like it could have been taken more seriously instead of having jokes but I understand just how important it is to be able to make joy and laughter in the dark moments. Overall if you like drag and want to see queer stories and performances this is definitely the show for you!

Show: A Woman's Place is in the House
Venue: Rarig Kilburn Theatre
Kept me intrigued the whole time!
I was worried coming into the show that I was going to get bored since historical plays can do that a lot but I thoroughly enjoyed the way that this show was written and performed! With the stage having 2 sides with an audience I know how difficult it could be to figure out blocking with the actors to make everyone's view enjoyable. This show did a wonderful job at staging all the actors and incorporating the audience with the rally signs. I thought it was very neat how they actually had Women who are State House members give speeches! The only thing that could have been better would be having the scene transitions be a little quicker if some of the actors were able to help out as well but it still was very well done! Highly recommend seeing this show if you like history or time travel stories!

Show: 1 Hour Left to Live: A One Puppet Show by That Felt Good
Venue: The Southern Theater
This made me want to have a puppet!
This show was genuinely such a joy to be able to see! All of the actors who were there were able to make me laugh and never let their costars be stuck in a scene for very long. I didn't know that it was going to be improv when I went to see it, normally I am not a big improv fan, however this show definitely made me realize how fun it can be to watch! 5 Kitties for sure!!!
