CRAZY for Madde!

This musical/improv journey through the thrills and spills of Madde Gibba's dating life is a hoot and a half. Gibba has the stage presence and humor of Amy Schumer, the ivory-tickling talent of Fiona Apple, and the vocal range of Sara Bareilles. (Side note: I could EASILY picture this lady playing Jenna in a production of Waitress - can someone please get on that? thank you!) Whether on a cruise ship or in a ladies' bathroom stall, every vignette strikes a chord - tragic, comical, heartbreaking, heartwarming, and every emotion in between. You'll laugh, you'll cry, but overall, you'll want Madde Gibba to be your gal pal for life after seeing the sorrow, the sweetness, and the song stylings of Boy Crazy.

Brilliant, Bold, and Beautiful

Gibba is a world class talent. We are lucky to have her back in MPLS. I expected the belly laughs, the whip crack wit, and the collective cringe from hearing the embarrassing embroidery of her past loves. What I didn't expect, was the lingering poetry of her music to follow me for the rest of my week. This is a must see.

I need to come back

Hilarious, smart, vulnerable yet sassy, joyful with a touch of poignancy... This show hits all the notes and hits them well. Also, if that full basket is any indication, there is a whole lot of content that I didn't get to see. So now I'm jealous of future audiences and I need to come back. Thanks for the laughs and the beautiful songs!
