Cast and Crew
Kim Neal Nofsinger
Artistic Director/Choreographer
Kim Neal Nofsinger is an artist/educator who lives in the Driftless region of southwestern Wisconsin. His work has been produced throughout the United States and internationally in China, Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Austria, Germany, and Belgium. Nofsinger, who has an MFA in Performance and Choreography from Arizona State University, returned to his hometown nine years ago after over twenty years of university teaching. His last university position was a full professor and Director of Dance at Middle Tennessee State University. Currently, he is the arts integration specialist at the School of Technology and Arts 1 in La Crosse, WI. In this role, he strives to incorporate the arts as a means of studying traditional classroom curriculum. He recently received the McCarthy Dresman Grant for Faculty Development and with these funds , he is working with elementary teachers to develop their use of the arts in the classroom. Nofsinger also works for the Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton School District as the director of theater, a forensics coach, a co-head coach for varsity track and a coach of junior high cross country. Nofsinger founded Shelter Repertory Dance Theater in 2001 as a means of providing dance educators a forum for producing and presenting their choreography. For more information kimnealn4@gmail.com
