If you want to see s good improv, the Shrieking Harpies are always a safe bet! You'll laugh, and maybe have other feelings, too. Things will get weird. I saw the show set in 1950s America, but wish I had caught the French Revolution show.

Hannah, Lizzie, and Taj (and Justin on keys) are musical improv icons. Full stop. If you haven't yet heard of the Harpies, you need to add them to your list. NOW. On top of consistently delivering top-tier comedy and writing hit songs on-the-spot about whatever random topic the audience suggests, these three friends have the kind of chemistry that leaves you thinking "maybe I should start a troupe of my own!" But if you do, know that you'll have some fierce competition—the Shrieking Harpies are truly the best in the business!

The Shrieking Harpies are so talented and highly skilled at music and improv, any show of theirs is worth seeing. I left the theater with a new earworm and plans to return!

The Harpies are always on my Fringe short-list

I like the added challenge of including a voted-upon time period in history. This vocal trio makes musical magic happen every time they open their mouths. I brought a skeptical first-timer to see the show today, but ultimately she loved it! We'll definitely have The Harpies on our calendar for next year!

Such a talented group of women. It never ceases to amaze me they can deliver a musical on the spot that is always fun and fabulous. Such a great year for improv at the Fringe, don't miss the one!

SO Funny

This was probably the most I’ve laughed during a comedy in a long time. The cast is hilarious and so talented. I loved the blending of improv and music. I can see myself returning to see this again!

Shrieking With a New Twist

The Shrieking Harpies are always entertaining. Adding the twist of a period piece was great. I heard that the 1950s was an amazing improvisation. I totally enjoyed the French Revolution! Loved the relationship between the queen and her chambermaid, the clueless king, the bickering brother and sister arguing about the roles or women and philosophers, the philosophers dual, the thirteen year old girl "bleeding to death" and the transformation of the castle to passing on legacies of women. Sometime it is so funny to see the actors struggle at times to string ideas together and switch midstream to carry on. This show was amazing, because it truly felt like it was previously scripted AND improvised! I can't wait to hear what other period pieced they dove into and see if this continues as a new tradition. Congratulations all.

Love High School Harpies 1950's Style

Loved this show. Fun and creative. Improv in both a musical and comedy manner. They do a different show each performance. Tonight's was 1950's high school angst. Fast paced and clever. Real chemistry with each other. Suggest you place this on your short list.

The Shrieking Harpies always put on an amazing performance. The Monday night show did not disappoint! Musical improv is a talent I truly admire and this group has perfected the art of it. I will never forget the new number one hits that were created during my show! Great job yall!
