He can regularly be seen performing with the improv troupes Sympathetic Magic, Jesters Comedy, and Fantastic Voyage. He also has a monthly gig at The Dinner Detective, where he (ironically) also plays a detective trying to solve a crime! The actual number of Fringe shows Mahmoud has performed in remains a mystery, but this year you can also catch him in Soap-Prov at the Nolte Xperimental and Stories From the Trauma Dump at Phoenix Theater. Mahmoud would like to thank Andrew and Emma for this opportunity, and the cast and crew of M. Yay Fringe! Let's do this!!

Previous Fringe credits include Delia in We Were Only Henchmen (2024), Ellen in That Woman: The Monologue Show (2024), and Reagan in An Exorcism, Dontcha Know (2025). More recently, her play Elsinore was featured in the Merrill Art Center's 2026 Page to Stage Festival.

He is the founder of the World Crime League and an actor with the Murder Mystery Company, where he dies on a regular basis. He's acted in several Fringe shows over the years, but has also directed such shows as "Writer's Block.," "Uncle Walt," "We Were Only Henchmen," (World Crime League), "Peace Retreat," and "An Exorcism, Don'tcha Know?" (New Endeavors). As a playwright, his work has been produced throughout the country, most recently his short play "The Modern Elder God" was included in a festival by Mystic Players Revival in Medford, MA and his one-act "Spilled Dictators" was produced by URHere Theater in Fresno, CA. He also just had his full-length play "Unter Strom" translated and published by Theaterverlag Elgg for production in Switzerland, Germany, and/or Austria...so if you can speak German and want to support his work, that's one way to do so. In addition to appearing in “M” this year, Andrew co-directed “Muskie” with New Endeavors, which is also showing at this year’s Fringe and should be added to your schedule this year!
John Slaight

He hopes you enjoy the show.
