Great humor and hilarious improved characters!

Laughed out loud on repeat

Very fun premise of a road trip. Chris and Rich took turns playing additional hilarious, unexpected characters. Never short of hilarious one-liners, we found ourselves laughing until we snorted on more than one occasion. Fun venue with good food/drink before the show too.

a good improv show

i hadn't seen many 'improv' shows before but this was pretty good. wanted to see it when i like 'road movies' and i knew the premise would be comparable. five vignettes, all suggested by the crowd. some were funnier than others. i liked seeing the range of these two dudes from Alabama, playing multiple characters to tell the story. when the banjo player was performing in the interludes i said it reminded me of 'price is right' seeing the car move on the map.

Adorably funny

This improv show at Bryant Lake Bowl was a little slow to start and end, but there were many laugh out loud good lines throughout. Very creative and a fun ride.

Chris & Rich are an outstanding duo with a wealth of improv experience. As a fellow improviser myself, I love the long form concept they developed for going on a Road Trip. There’s even an adorable road map on stage where they use a car to travel the path of the scene structure. Go see these two powerhouses from Alabama while you can!

Take This Journey with Chris & Rich

More people need to come out & support these touring artists at BLB. They're offering something wholly original that's different from the other improv formats in this year's festival. Two friends trekking across an ambiguous countryside, using audience suggestions to fuel their journey. And because it's improv, every destination is different. It's funny, eye-catching & at times, very touching. The format for this funny, improvised two-hander is unique & full of heart. It also helps that the camaraderie between Chris & Rich really shines through. These are actors at the core, so the improvised side of it never feels forced, even as they shift from one character to the next. Highly recommend.
