Cast and Crew
Cathy Wind
Tap Dancer
Tap Dancer • Rhythm Maker • Keeper of the Groove Cathy Wind is a tap dancer and co-artistic director of Keane Sense of Rhythm Tap Company, where she spends a great deal of time making music with her feet—and very little time sitting still.
Katie Kimball
Trapeze Artist
Katie is the owner and founder of Twin Cities Trapeze Center in Saint Paul, MN. She specializes in flying, static and double trapeze and performs as a soloist and as part of the Trapeze Duo "Shady Carol". She's a big fan of her teen son and strongly believes that circus is for everybody.
Kirsten Stephens
Mime
Kirsten is an international performer and director who studied mime in France with Marcel Marceau, and has been based in Minneapolis for the last couple decades. She has performed both as a solo artist and in collaborations in Europe and across the US. Her unique transatlantic style blends the techniques of French masters Marcel Marceau and Etienne Decroux with influences of American classics such as Red Skelton, Lucille Ball, Buster Keaton, and Animaniacs. She is also a flying trapeze catcher at Twin Cities Trapeze.
Malia L
Trapeze Artist
Malia will be entering sixth grade this fall and has been practicing trapeze for two years. When not flying through the air, she enjoys playing hockey and soccer, and is a voracious reader. She is thrilled to be performing in the Fringe Festival again this year!
Ady
Tap Dancer
Starbucks is basically my second home, and yes, the coffee addiction is very real. If they write "Yum" on my cup, my day is instantly better. Fake tan? Also very real. I've been golfing for a whole month, so basically I'm ready for the PGA (don't fact-check that). I'm going to college to become a stay-at-home mom—it's called planning ahead.
Amelia
Tap Dancer
Hi, I'm Amelia. Certified cheese enthusiast and proud defender of orange juice (apple juice wishes it was this good). I can do a back layout, I'm slightly obsessed with giraffes, and otters are 100% my spirit animal. My long-term life goal? Get absolutely jacked—like "opens pickle jars with one hand" jacked. If you bring cheese, we'll probably get along.
Cooper
Tap Dancer
living that lake life but still can't drive (tragic). professional sun chaser. future choreographer because someone has to carry the dance industry. unicorns are my favorite animal and i will not be accepting opposing opinions. Currently accepting rides until further notice.
Madi Smith
Youth Choreographer
Madi is a choreographer in the Twin Cities metro area. She is passionate about sharing the love of dance with her students and has received numerous awards for her choreography. Madi also enjoys reading, spending time with her cat and long walks on metaphorical beaches.
Emily Moody
Tap Dancer
Emily never saw a sequin she didn't like, or a costume she could resist. She was always meant for the circus, only took a few decades to get here.
Jancyn Bindman
Tap Dancer
Jancyn fell in love with tap at an early age when her grammy shared Easter Parade with her. Now she regularly performs with community theaters, Gilbert and Sullivan Very Light Opera Company, and Ballet Co Laboratory. Jancyn is also crazy about stage combat and thinks everyone should learn to pretend fight. Yarrr!
