Highly recommend, did not find scary
What people have already said. Great show! For all those that saw the tag "horror" and worried if the show would be too scary--I avoid scary things in general and loved this. Did not find scary.

Goofy and confusing
I was unfamiliar with the original work and was confused throughout most of the performance even with a narrator and a glossary of key terms/ideas. I read the Wikipedia article on Mother Courage after the show and what the show is doing made a lot more sense and found the concept hilarious. If you are also unfamiliar with the original mother courage, I recommend googling a synopsis before seeing this show. I'm also not very familiar with care bears so maybe that knowledge would help too? I had many moments of being delightfully confused mixed in with simple bewilderment.

Loved it!
I liked that the voiceover + music made it feel like a film and I enjoyed the music. I found the characters believable and relatable. Cool lighting effects. I didn't notice any plot holes another reviewer talked about. I did have to listen closely at times when spoken words were quiet. Recommend you see this and sit near the front.

I had so much fun! Loved the singing/the songs, the lead's performance, the concept, the jokes, the puppet, the setup for the pianist, etc. So glad I was able to see this. Recommend buying your ticket ahead of time--its popular.

Intriguing concept, funny moments!
I went with friends and my friends found it hilarious. Violent shows are not my thing, but I still had a fine time. Walt was awesome, super believable as a severed Walt Disney head brought back to life!
