Clever & funny

Great use of visual media to complement his storytelling. Handles some dark topics but does so with humor. Great interaction with the audience. We laughed a ton!

Company: Michael Rogers
Show: That Which Is Green
Venue: The Southern Theatre

Beautiful!!

What a lovely production! Minimalist set, but it works so very well. I found myself close to tears and covered in goosebumps at the end.

All the feels

This show will make you laugh, cry, and celebrate the beauty of life (even in dark times). A Finge must-see!

Truly fantastic!!

So hilarious and heartfelt—even if you have nightmares about clowns, you’ll love this show!

Company: Flamenco X
Show: Her voice rising
Venue: The Southern Theatre

Beautiful but wish there was a program

Fabulous show that tackles important issues by making you FEEL something. Costumes were beautiful, and the Southern is the perfect stage for this performance. The transition between pieces was awkward at times, and I agree that a program would have been helpful to offer some context about the piece and information about the performers. Certainly a show that isn’t getting the buzz it deserves—come see it before the end of Fringe!

Company: Gabriel Shen | Twin Cities Youth Theatre
Show: Death! A Musical
Venue: The Southern Theatre

Death! But Fun!!

A delightful musical—I wish I could listen to the songs on Spotify (and put them on repeat)! The performers are so talented, and it hit all the beats of a good musical. As other reviewers mentioned, it was occasionally hard to hear the performers. It’s impressive that they put it together in a week! The staging could have taken better advantage of the space (often action was concentrated on the bottom third of the stage)—an opportunity for future performances. Excellent work!

Company: Lady Z Productions
Show: The 4 “W”s and the “H” of Murder
Venue: Mixed Blood

Opening Night!

My first Fringe show of 2025! I think there were some opening night jitters that will be smoothed over in subsequent performances. Laughed out loud at multiple points. Compared to the well-developed other characters, “Sus” fell flat for me. Great LGBTQ+ and poly representation that manages to feel authentic rather than dramatized.
