Entertaining!
What’s not to love when you have gifted performers clearly having fun? Light story with nicely unfolding plot.

A Funny German
One hour of nonstop stand up comedy with a ‘Germany” theme. Loved the last joke of the show!

Quirky Fringe
Solo shows typically don't involve so many wonderful random bits of whimsy. This performance was well-performed and paced and just when you think you've seen the range of talent or the last trick, there's more.

Show: Extreme Roadshow
Venue: Phoenix Theater
A Perfect PBS Parody
Ensemble sections were wonderfully choreographed and integrated and plot/storyline enabled solo performers to show off their talents. A real deal Fringe show

Show: Everything Bagel
Venue: Strike Theater
Slamming good!
Do not let the poetry slam references keep you from seeing this show! Each poem (= story) was extremely well-crafted and skillfully and energetically delivered. If you were born in the last century or want to brush up on 1980's-1990's pop culture, this show is for you. Smiles throughout and sincere laughter per clever turns of phrases. Worth your time / the trip over to Strike.

Water with a twist (or two!)
For a Fringe-length run time, this show makes the most of everything— script, blocking/stage/ minimal props and performers’ talents. Topically of the moment regarding what could or might influence an election outcome (or not…) Well worth your time!

Show: FLOAT

Paper Shredder
Some very interesting ideas (shredder love!) and kudos to the talent to deliver with such gusto. Perhaps a little to heady/spiritual…?
Company: Jason Schommer
Show: 1992: Mistakes Were Made!
Venue: Rarig Center Xperimental
Heartfelt with humor
Great delivery of a read monologue—many moments that made us think and reflect on our own high school experiences. Could have wrapped up very successfully without the letter to the future self (which was longer /more detailed than necessary…?)

Whistles!
Expectations were for a lighthearted campy Fringe show and this one delivered swimmingly. With the performance unfolding, the plot revealed each character’s hang up and resolution. That was artfully done and the high energy and final song sent us off smiling.

High Concept, Very Original
The idea that only certain people can hear the music of your emotions was compelling and the soundtrack itself with its integration into the plot was truly wonderful. This is not your typical Fringe musical but you will leave just as happy & satisfied. One kitty shy of five per the voiceover and live onstage spoken dialog was sometimes challenging to hear (yes, it is a very large performance space and I made the mistake of not sitting right up front...) + I found the mimed door opening/closing at the periphery upon characters entering/exiting rooms distracting.

French royalty in the US
Without pomp and just a few props, Les deftly commands an audience and takes us along with him on his journey to discover his roots, "for sure eh."
