Mahmoud Hakima
Chuck
Mahmoud Hakima (Chuck) who is most definitely NOT a true psychopath is thrilled to be back for his 15th (16th?) year of Fringe! Since arriving in the Twin Cities, he has acted, written, directed, puppeteered and composed for the stage. An active member of the Twin Cities improv community, he performed in last year's Fringe with Slender Vale and Legends Improv Theater. And depending on whether you liked the show or not, he may or may not have directed Happy Endings Church! You can also catch him in another Fringe show "Behemoth", also at Theater in the Round! Big thanks to Hedy, Dave, Megan and the rest of the cast!
Adriana Surmak
Morgan
Adriana Surmak (Morgan) is making their first contribution to the Minneapolis stage after a lengthy hiatus following their kindergarten performance of The Little Red Hen in the production's titular role. As a lifelong fan of all forms of theater, they are grateful for the opportunity to participate in a medium they so enjoy.
Eric Jacobson
Doctor Randy
Eric B. Jacobson (Dr. Randy) is an actor, playwright, and cat dad based in the Twin Cities. He was previously seen in Fearless Comedy’s Fearless 5: Mythology, Moral of the Story’s Unbelievable! at last year’s Fringe, and numerous productions in front of his bathroom mirror. He is thrilled to be participating in another Fringe with this fun and talented cast as part of his therapy homework to get out and meet people. He is currently writing two full-length dramas and a Shakespeare-inspired high school comedy, and he’s got an idea for next year’s Fringe, which he probably won’t write until the last minute. www.ericbjacobson.com

Dave Rand-McKay
Donald and Writer
Dave Rand-McKay, the playwright behind 'Works in Progress,' spent much of the previous presidential administration engrossed in the study of personality disorders. As the world shifted in unpredictable ways, Dave found himself diving into the deep end of psychology in an attempt to make sense of the unfolding events. This intense period of learning sparked a fascination with the intricacies of the human mind, particularly the Dark Triad of personality traits. Drawing on this unique interest, Dave has channeled his insights into the creation of 'Works in Progress.' Balancing humor with depth, and reality with mystery, Dave's play is a reflection of his journey through the labyrinth of the human psyche. Outside the realm of writing, Dave continues to explore the intersection of current events, psychology, and storytelling, often finding that truth is indeed stranger than fiction.

This is her fourth production at Minnesota Fringe Festival, she excited to bring Works in Progress to the stage.
