Venue: Rarig Center Arena
Coulda used more BITE! (Get it?)
The show is just silly fun, and the title pretty much tells you what you're getting into. There are definitely some funny lines, and the person playing Dracula was a hoot. There's some good stuff in the show, and it was definitely a people pleaser.
Company: Mike Fotis Productions
Show: The Windblown Cheeks Of Lovers

Comedy perfection
I laughed a lot. Three local comedic treasures on one stage doing what they do best? I'M IN! Seriously, this show should be sold out every night, but too many people are weird about driving that TEN MINUTES to NE Minneapolis from the Rarig where this is this magical show going on and FREE FREAKING PARKING! Anyway, go see this!
Company: Goof Goof
Show: 101 Goofin' Things

This IS Fringe!
I was expecting stupid and absurd and what I got was even stupider and more absurd than I imagine. I love seeing shows like this because they embrace the weirdness Fringe should be all about. Also, let's all please tell Phillip he is a good person.
Company: ThickWater
Show: The Duet
Venue: Mixed Blood Theatre
Loved this!
A very, very good show with two stellar performances and some catchy tunes.
Company: Special When Lit and The Winding Sheet Outfit
Show: Stabby Stab Stab
Venue: Crane Theater
Favorite Fringe Show (so far!)
Everything about the show is excellent! Nissa and Kayla give haunting performances that resonated with me long after the show was over. The set design was so, so good, and being in the studio at The Crane gave the show a bit of a claustrophobic feel, like you can't escape this. The music by Derek and Sam was perfect and added a gloomy atmosphere to everything. I love that I am still thinking about this show today. Go see it!
Company: Wet Splat Productions
Show: 20,000 Leagues Under the Telltale Heart
Venue: Rarig Center Arena
Fun show!
The whole premise of the show is silly and stupid in the best way--you will discover pretty quickly whether or not this show is for you or not from the opening theme song. I had no idea what was going on, but I am not sure I cared because the improvisers were making big choices and committing to them. Great show!
Company: Imaginary Podcast Network
Show: Let Me Say This About That
Venue: Rarig Center Xperimental
Car stuff
Danna and Heather are two top-notch improvisers that clearly have a love for podcasts. One thing I love to see on stage with improv is when the performers obviously love each other and the ridiculous choices being made. The show also does an excellent job of bringing the audience along for the ride--something a lot of improv shows forget to do. Just a fun, ridiculous show that I strongly recommend.
Company: Nightfall Productions
Show: Fargo Allegro
Venue: Rarig Center Thrust
Highly recommended
I mean...it's Fargo. Great performances by everyone involved and clearly created by someone that adores the source material. I had a great time!
Company: Rogues Gallery Arts
Show: My Only Hope for a Hero
Venue: Southern Theater
Great show!
Duck is a gifted performer and storyteller, and this is him at his best. There are so many lovely moments in this show--delivered with humor, sadness, and anger. This is a definite "don't miss" show.

Fringy Fringe Fringe
It's great to see a show that truly captures the spirit of Fringe. For the most part, I was intrigued by what was happening. By the end, I thought to myself, "What just happened?" The show has some very cool elements but also moves pretty slowly (but not boring!). Glad I saw it!
Company: Chrisdavisdoesstuff
Show: CHRIS DAVIS DOES STUFF
Venue: Strike Theater
Chris is just do darn charming...
I had the pleasure of having Chris as a guest storyteller in my show, and he was so brilliant and funny. It only made me more excited to see his show, and he did not disappoint at all. Chris is so funny and personable, and he has a magical way of making everyone feel part of the show. Please get out to Strike Theater to see his show. It's worth the short drive (and you can easily get back to Rarig for the next show!).
