Solo shows need someone with insane charisma stats, and Jake Mierva DELIVERS, holy crap.

Disjointed
Very disjointed. There are basically 3 distinct sections that don't hold together very well. The first part was kind of silent movie comedy pastiche but very slow, which didn't get the show off to a good start at all. Second part with the podcasters was better, if rather cliche. Third part, with the video element, was the best, but at that point I was already kind of out of the show. Unfortunate :/

Deeply Meh
The relationship between the characters was incredibly cliché, which for something where that's basically the whole show is a bad sign. Deeply gendernormative in a slightly icky way (imo at least) despite attempts to gesture toward the opposite. And the audience participation element was awkward and unnecessary. No one wants to be fumbling with their phone flashlight in the theatre.

SUPER ambitious for Fringe. Excellent stage work and sound. The script was hard to follow at times imo but that might just be me.

Good with some drawbacks
The concept and physical performances were fun and the audience participation really worked with the crowd there today. Some of the character voices made the Shakespearean dialogue hard to understand though, especially from Joker.

Great Stuff
I missed this at TC Horror Fest so getting an "encore" performance was great. It felt very horror podcast-core, but the lighting and some very strong performance choices justified it being on stage. Definitely recommended!

Pretty Good
This kind of "local reference overload" type of comedy can be VERY hit or miss for me, but this show was very solid. Mostly because it also had the very fun Casablanca angle, so it was far less one note than local reference humor can tend to be.

Funny AF
This was so funny and such a good time. Only complaint was some sound issues but it was opening show so those could easily get resolved. See it!

Amazing
SUPERMOON has knocked it out of the park every time I've seen them, and this was no exception. That ending was insane and the music and projections throughout were super effective. 10/10 might have to catch it a second time.

VERY First Draft
Some of the jokes landed and the audience seemed to enjoy it, but I have to rate it low because it feels just... incredibly first draft. A ton of narration rather than letting scenes flow and speak for themselves, multiple songs that seemed to have very little to do with the overall point and muddled the plot, and a plot itself that seemed confused about what the point of there being a show at all was. Side note, the other reviews are true: the band was WAY too loud and that did not help clarify the plot itself at all.

Great show! Tons of music, like way more than I expected. Satisfying drama and humor throughout. Teamsters forever and solidarity forever!
